Run iOS Apps Unofficially on Apple TV Coming soon!
1TheMudkip has rewritten the hole Springboard from scratch for the Apple TV. Potentially allowing users of the 99$ Apple TV to run Apple’s Appstore apps on their big screen tv. The hack is still in its early stage and there are not ETAs available yet but here’s a glimpse on what it will look like.
This will be controlled via an iPhone or iPad so this might eventually open possibilities of split-screen multiplayer games or angry birds on the big screen, etc. No ETAs yet but stay tuned for news!
Steve Jobs Autographed iPod Shuffle goes on sell on eBay
0A fourth-generation iPod Shuffle autographed by Steve Jobs is now up for grabs on eBay.
The owner of this rare iPod Shuffle noted:
He said him and three colleagues were invited to attend an Apple event in conjunction with the “innovators of tomorrow” program, where he had the rare opportunity to ask Jobs for his signature.
Owner asked:
“I hear you’re not really one to give autographs, but I just gotta ask…. will you sign my iPod? It’s fine if you don’t want to. I’m not normally one to even ask for autographs.
And Steve Jobs answered:
“It’s quite alright. You heard that about me? Well I wouldn’t say that I don’t like giving autographs, I guess I was never comfortable with the idea solely taking credit for something, which is to me what an autograph might imply. To be honest, I think I’m the last person who should sign something. A writer signing a book I can understand, but I think if anybody within our company should sign something, it should be members from our R&D team and all the others responsible for product innovation. It’s unfortunate that they all can’t receive the same level recognition. But I suppose it’s easier this way though?….you would need a pretty big iPod to fit all those signatures”

iPhone 4S & iPad 2 Jailbreak Progress by pod2g
0Progress has been made in the A5 Devices’ jailbreak, pod2g has reported in his blog that he just started researching on the iPad 2 and the iPhone 4S for a jailbreak which means it will soon come to us! Maybe this might be our Christmas present from pod2g? All this thanks to everyone’s generous donations to him so that he can buy both devices to research on.

Stuck On “Accessing iTunes Store” Quick Fix Solution Tutorial
0If your iTunes gets stuck while accessing iTunes Store, there is a very simple fix to this problem. The cause of this problem is still unknown but the fix is now known! All you have to do is to follow this tutorial to fix your annoying “Accessing iTunes Store” Stuck Issue.
Step 1: Open up CMD (Windows Key + R then type in CMD then hit OK)
Step 2: Type in CMD the following: netsh winsock reset
Step 3: Restart your computer or simply close down all the iTunes running processes in Windows Task Manager (Including iTunes itself).
Step 4: Restart iTunes.
Step 5: Voila!
This will also fix the annoying issue of AppleMobileDeviceService.exe taking all the CPU for nothing.

Get Siri Dictation for your iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS & iPod Touch 4
0A new jailbreak tweak called “Siri0us” now brings you the Siri Dictation function for your iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and your iPod Touch 4. This is not the actual Siri but only the Dictation Function used to input spoken sentences. It is available in the Cydia Store and it’s said to be powered by Nuance Technology. Of course, this requires internet connection when used just like the original Siri.

Developer Eric Day has uploaded a jailbreak package entitled Siri0us. Day describes his tweak as “Siri dictation for your iOS 5 devices. No iPhone 4S keys/files required.” And believe it or not, the utility actually works. We’ve tested it out on a couple of iDevices.
Dictation works great on the iPhone 4, transcribing words into text rather quickly. The technology is actually Naunce-based dictation, but the end result is pretty much the same as Apple’s Siri. As you can see in the video, small ads are displayed in the bar above the mic icon. We have also confirmed that Siri0us works on the iPod touch 4G.

Crystal Clear iPhone 4 / 4S Snap-On Full Body Case Review
0Ever wanted a clear iPhone 4 case that has a full body protection that covers both the back and all the sides? Well, I have the perfect case for you. I bought this case on eBay for about 10$USD and I must say, I’m impressed! Shipping took around 1 week from the US to Canada. It came nicely sealed in a slick package.
In general, the case fits very well onto my new iPhone 4S. The case is both compatible with the iPhone 4 AT&T and the Verizon version and of course, it’s also compatible with the iPhone 4S.

Pros:
- Fits perfectly on my iPhone 4S
- Looks VERY nice!
- Feels solid, the case clips on very well, not loose
- Doesn’t hide the iPhone’s beautiful design
- Plastic is quite nice, not cheap yellow plastic
Cons:
- It does have some “watermarks” on the back
- The case is hard to remove..
- Hair Thin scratches are starting to form on the back.. (Barely noticeable, only noticeable under direct sun light)
For 10$, I must say, I am more than satisfied!
